Building a Community
Our vision is to build the preeminent Sarcoidosis community of resources for thought leaders, treating physicians, healthcare professionals (clinicians and researchers), patients and concerned care givers. The foundation will ideally be the ‘Go To’ global resource for healthcare professionals to learn more about the current treatment options for their patients afflicted with the disease by linking these doctors with disease specific experts as well as current research.
Our purpose for the foundation is to be the facilitator for idea exchange among international experts to continually further our understanding of Sarcoidosis mechanisms of disease, current treatment modalities, ongoing clinical trials and practical information on coping with Sarcoidosis day to day.
2008 BMF Thought Leadership Conference
We will host an annual conference intended to bring together global thought leaders, clinicians and researchers, for the purpose of idea exchange, discussion on current treatment modalities, ongoing clinical trails and reviewing and awarding new grants. The outcome of the annual conference will be a white paper highlighting the findings.
